Who is this Morgan boy. I have heard a couple of people say who they think it might be, but this name did not come up.

The Morgan Boy -- ah, yes. He is a handful. Truthfully, it's not just this boy, but his friends/cousins, etc. along with him that are very....inquisitive and spunky tykes. Basically, they have no supervision and run all over the 7th district doing whatever strikes their fancy and have absolutely no fear of authority figures. :yay: Great huh?

I'll never forget when he was painting up that for sale sign at River Springs Road, only to have the owner continuously repaint it, and he would vandalize it again. Then one day, I drove past the sign instead of saying "For Sale", it said, "Touch it again Morgan, and you're dead". :killingme

He was constantly going across our and BIL's shared driveway on a 4-wheeler and there are kind of steep banks on either side. He'd go as fast as possible and then jump the banks into the street and then do it again. Well, he eventually whittled away the asphalt from 10 feet across to 8 feet. My BIL said, "That's it, I've had it with the Morgan Boy, I'm going to teach him." He stopped mowing the grass on the banks and laid 2 X 4's with nails hammered through them on the banks and the next time Morgan happened by he got flat tires. :lmao: He stopped doing it!

Sounds like the Morgan boy is suffering from "parent idiotitus."
Oh, there's no doubt about that! Everyone knows it's pointless to try going to his parents. It's best to find ways to deal with him on your own.

Are they even around here anymore?

That was one name that did come up.

I do see a lot of four wheelers coming and going, but we think this person is on a bike. One night when hubby and I were coming home, we saw a red bike in our ditch. Now mind you this was about 10:00 pm. So we called my BIL (we share a driveway) and told him to come outside. My hubby went around one direction and BIL went the other, but when they got back to where the bike was, it was gone. Also, the people I've been talking to about this have also see this around their places.

I'm not asking for an Assault Riffle or anything of the sorts. I just want a nice Glock... nothing I haven't already fired off.

No maybe about it.

I knew her response would bring in a level head :yay: thanks for the support

in all honesty, I don't feel safe near the open road like we are, and even with the "annoying spotlight of doom" I doubt it would keep anyone away from the parking lot... time to set up perimeter sweeps... sigh... good thing I have time this weekend...

I'll talk to the BIL this weekend and find out what is going on. It sounds like most of the problems are up near River Springs and Hatchet Thicket but I'll keep an eye out for you guys. The local "party house" is being renovated and is now for rent. (This is where the party I mentioned earlier was) There were some sure 'nuff hardheads living there for a bit.
