I heard w/ the food was good! :shrug: Haven't been yet though, so I dont know for sure. Just going by what a friend has told me.

I'm going to make a stop there next time I'm over.
The articles I've read about the renovations, and the interview with the new owners have sold me.
I'll make my own judgement once I taste the food, and experience the service.
I did want to see the old "Vera's" but I'm too late. I still hope to meet Vera.

We did the same thing on Saturday past. My only complaint was they have no kid menu... I ordered my son a hot dog and fries. Man you guys should see the size of the thing. We had to break it in 3 pieces just so he could eat it.
Service was great, beer was cold and the deck has a great view of the creek.

The food was really good, the atmosphere was pretty cool. The only bad thing would be the service. I sat at the bar for at least 10 minutes before a word was said to me. But, to be fair, all the employees looked confused, maybe they just have the opening jitters.
