2001 Qualifies as vintage?

'86 Kaw VN 750, vintage.

No. I didn't say it was vintage. It is what I am riding out to the event if I go. It should be a good opportunity to see some great old bikes and watch some races.

Had flashbacks to my old BSA Thunderbolt and Triumph Bonneville. circa 1960-1970.

I probably wouldn't have attempted it on any of my 1970's era Triumphs.
