already need to bump up the RAM again

I have an old box, it has Linux on it, anyone know how to make a duel boot with XP and Linux?

i reinstalled XP.... I hated vista even thought i got a free copy when it came out for getting this computer last Christmas.. I might put it on again sometime down the road.

Its was nothing but a pain in the ####ing ass

Good release of Linux. The bootable disk you create can run standalone without having to erase anything on the disk. If you decide you like it, you can run an installer.

Nevermind... I should read before posting... you HAVE linux...

I do. Partition Magic is your friend. :yahoo:

Install XP, then use XP's disk management to convert to Dynamic Disk, split it in half. Assign the next drive to a letter, mark the partition as active, use FDISK to add a boot log and then reboot, install Linux.

I've done it before, much easier in person than it sounds here.
