I agree with MMdad; she puts up with some people far longer than most would. However, his prescription, grow a backbone and quit playing the victim, entirely ignores the countless times she jumps in the fray to defend anyone she thinks is being picked on unfairly. Not to mention the epic verbal smack-downs, bytch slappings, ass kickings and so forth she somehow, in her victim state, has found time, and fortitude, to dole out over the years.

Hey, it's a point of view and that, kids, is what the forums is alllll about. :shrug:

No, no. I won't say 'longer than she should'. I say 'longer than most people would.'

There's a distinction there that matters; she is trying to balance, as you mentioned, tolerating a little (a lot?) excess with the interest of promoting interesting conversation, debate and, yes, argument. I had seen her agonize so many times over the years worrying about that balance as opposed to just shutting it down or being too strict or just let it be a free for all; a ruler trying to not abuse power.

The antithesis of a victim.

Does he? I get the argument; 'she is 'playing' the victim' because of whatever, enjoying the attention when she has all the power needed to put an end to it.' Plenty of people do that.

I just disagree with the point as it pertains to her. You know her real well personally so, you know. He, obviously, doesn't.
