WTF! Rt. 4 does NOT go to clinton. How the hell did you get to Clinton via Rt. 4?hasnaa said:I Heard about this terrible accident this morning...I normally take the commuter bus from Charlotte Hall to Washington DC via Rte. 5 (branch ave.)I decided to drive to Clinton, Md. Maybe he cut thru Woodyard:shrug:huntr1 said:WTF! Rt. 4 does NOT go to clinton. How the hell did you get to Clinton via Rt. 4?
I would assume so, but then he isn't getting to Clinton via Rt. 4. That's like saying I got to Silver Spring today via Rt. 6.CMC122 said:Maybe he cut thru Woodyard:shrug:
But you still get there, and that's all that matter'shuntr1 said:I would assume so, but then he isn't getting to Clinton via Rt. 4. That's like saying I got to Silver Spring today via Rt. 6.
If you said you'd gone to Clinton, the immediate assumption is you went up 301/5, like most people would do from St. Mary's. But that would mean going past the accident. By saying he went via 4, means he cut over to Calvert County first and avoided the accident.huntr1 said:I would assume so, but then he isn't getting to Clinton via Rt. 4. Sure it does. Route 4 is Pennsylvania Avenue.huntr1 said:WTF! Rt. 4 does NOT go to clinton. How the hell did you get to Clinton via Rt. 4?
I would have assumed no such thing. Easy way around the accident from C.H. would have been to go across Rt. 6 till you hit 227 to 228 to Accokeek Rd. to Rt. 5. Another good option is 231 to 381 to Rt.5 or 231 to 381 to 382 to any one of acouple roads over to 301 up arond Marlton over to Woodyard. Or Rt. 5 to Gallant Green to Aquasco Rd. to Horsehead Rd. to 381 (then follow previously mentioned routes).Hot N Bothered said:If you said you'd gone to Clinton, the immediate assumption is you went up 301/5, like most people would do from St. Mary's. Pennsylvannia Ave. doesn't go thru Clinton. It goes from Calvert thru Upper Marlboro thru Forrestville to D.C.Chasey_Lane said:Sure it does. Route 4 is Pennsylvania Avenue.
Right, and along the way, there are exits for Coventry, Allentown, Woodyard, etc. :shrug:huntr1 said:Pennsylvannia Ave. doesn't go thru Clinton. It goes from Calvert thru Upper Marlboro thru Forrestville to D.C.
I know how to get to Clinton after turning off Rt. 4, I grew up in Marlton, therefor Clinton was my stomping grounds in H.S. I was just pointing out that Rt. 4 doesn't go to Clinton.IM4Change said:You can take 4 to the beltway, take Woodyard Road/Allentown Road, yeah you can get to Clinton from Rt. 4, but you are going to be making a few more turns.
