Walgreens Lusby ripped off my kid!

I let it go the time they overcharged me... and I caught it at the register, then had to wait at the cosmetic counter to get it straightened out....

I let it go the time they advertised several items [school supplies] and had none of them in stock... like in a perfect world....

I let it go when my neighbor was complaining about being overcharged. [She had to get a babysitter so she could go back up there and get a credit]

This time... I thought I'd warn others .... and then let it go...

I feel better now...

REALLY LET IT GO..
Breath in...
Deep..
Exhale...
Breath in Again...
Exhale...

And lets say the lady behind the counter is being paid $10 an hour- I'm sure those registers just ring it up, the lady is not supposed to run over and see if the sign matches- its the customers job to recognize that.

I don't see how its the lady's error at all, no matter how much she may get paid.

Okay, but you got your money back, right? So live and learn. Tell the girl to check her receipt and make sure the $1.99 an hour employee behind the counter wasn't screwing her.

Nothing's perfect.

On the Right Side.
Several things could happen to cause this problem.

Another customer seeing a better deal set nail polish on the shelf and removed the better deal.

The cashier made an error.

The Buy one get one may have only been on same kink, cover girl red / cover girl red or something like that.

The sign was an old sign and someone failed to take it down.

While you were inconvienced the store did make it right, and the manager and gave you a refund.

Mistakes happen, the best thing to do is when you shop to know what you expect to pay and check the receipt when the transaction is done. No business will do an error on purpose.

I have to disagree with you on this one; the customer is the life of the business, it's not their job to recognize errors. The business owner should practice dilegence in making it right the first time.

However, this person's rant is uncalled for. Management made up for the error. Case closed.

:lmfao: More than once... he is filled with useless information.

Got some great pics of him

That's the running joke, whenever he starts to spout off some useless info, we respond with "Yeah, but do YOU know what a calorie is??" I think the calorie story was our first bit of useless info.
I want to see the pics...

Wow, my 13 year old knows when someone over charges her. She makes it a point to look at prices on whatever she buys.

10th grader :killingme:killingme:killingme:killingme:killingme:killingme:killingme

My daughter raised money by working hard to pull her grades up.

She earned some money by pulling at D to a B.

Then she decided to go shopping at Walgreens to buy some nail polish.

She is thrifty... she found some nail polish that was buy one get one free....

Great Big Signs on the shelves drew her to the correct nail polish.

Then they charged her for both bottles..... poor kid....

I took the receipt back for her tonight... the manager was very nice and she refunded the money... she stated she didn't know how it happened....

I think it's funny that they advertise "a perfect world" ... In a perfect world people do things right the first time... in a perfect world a 10th grader doesn't get ripped off!

I wouldn't say anything... but this is not the first problem we've had with Walgreens... I am not at all impressed!

In my perfect world McDonalds posts a meal for $5.79 and when you get the receipt for it it lists the meal at $5.79 instead of making it impossible to figure out if you actually got the meal at that price by breaking it down into the smallest figures to obfuscate it. Also when a drink costs more in the combo that additional cost is added on a separate line. Inversely when a drink costs less they credit it.

But that would just make to much sense in the real world.

I met a little girl yesterday, so sweet. Her grandparents were taking her out to spend time with her and get some nice pictures. She wanted to have her picture taken with one of our foster kittens, so sweet and gentle. Point of this....this sweet little angel has lost her fight against Leukemia.:bawl: She'll be leaving soon for a "perfect place". Pray for her and count your blessings!!

Tell her to get used to it. Her mother has set her up for a life of failure by rewarding mediocre behavior, blaming others for her failures, and being a helicopter mom who corrects her mistakes for her.

Great job raising a perpetual victim!
