Another scrub. Oh, well. Need super-clear skies for this to be useful for scientists, and pretty for the public. Maybe tomorrow. Still, had fun with the teens walking out to a clear sky part of the neighborhood.

Where is everyone trying to watch from.....?

My neighborhood has a street with a good view directly east over some houses - no tall trees in the way. I've gotten nice pics in the past, where I start seeing about 20 sec after liftoff.

So about 2 min walk from my house.

I and many others, park at Solomons in the parking area facing the Bay by the Research Center. You can see the glow on the Eastern Shore as soon as the engines light up, and it's a clear sky above.

Others that have base access go to the beach on base or by the fishing pier.

Finally, a successful launch, and it was worth the wait. The red/blue clouds created were amazing.
