NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Wal-Mart announced Tuesday that it will chop prices between 10 to 30% this week on groceries, electronics and other home-related products in an effort to keep its cash-strapped consumers excited about shopping.

I was in one yesterday and they had a ton of stuff on sale. Nothing really worth purchasing though. Miostly end of season stuff and misc. things. We just (really just left the sono place ) found out we were having a girl for our first grandchild and I didnt buy anything for her. So that tells ya - nothing really worth buying.

Must be. Have had lots of inquiry's about the one I had on somd.com/classifieds for sale. Sold it tonight. Everyone that contacted me wanted to low ball us. This guy tonight knew he had a deal, and we met him 1/2 way.

He'll be enjoying the game! And for a long time to come. He KNEW he was getting a deal! Good on him! (and lucky us - gives us back space in our bedroom where we had it stored for safety!)

On Monday, I was in the Wal Mart in La Plata, and they had reduced books 30-40%

They also have huge pizza for 6 bucks and some change. 1 pounders.
