I think Kelly didn't really want to be 2nd to her. There were several who made it clear right away - especially the women!At some point you don't even know what to say.
It's not like the Democrats don't have some decent choices. Beshear or Kelly would have been great choices, liberal but not offensively so. So many times girls have to use boys bathrooms or locker rooms for away games.
