It’ll or to mention a border state? WTF does that have to do with anything? You do realize Minnesota borders Canada and not Mexico don’t you. There is not a surge of immigrants invading his state.

Is it hard for you to read two sentences in a row? The first discussed Kelly and his attributes. The second sentence also reffered to Kelly and ARIZONA WHICH IS A BORDER STATE

I just can't think what Walz brings to the ticket. Kamala was already going to win the hate-America Commie riot and burn cities vote, and MN's electorals as well. They're trying to paint him as a moderate when he is not moderate in any meaningful way. Is Kamala that extreme radical that she thinks Walz is a moderate???

How ****ing crazy do you have to be to think welcoming foreign drug dealers in overwhelming numbers and cutting/drugging children to change their gender is "moderate"?

When did he do any of those things?

He is an old white man which makes a lot of other white men confortable voting for a black woman.

He is extremely popular in his state. A teacher and national guardsman and the highest ranked military member of congress.

"He signed bills to create a paid family and medical leave program; provide for universal free school meals; legalize recreational marijuana; sharply increase tax credits for low-income families; and boost sales and gas taxes for transportation and housing.

“Governor Walz has been a strong leader, a great partner with the Legislature, and is an excellent choice for vice president,” said Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman, DFL-Brooklyn Park. “We worked together over the last two years on the most productive session in Minnesota in decades, passing policies that will help Minnesotans build better lives for themselves and their families.”

Walz pushed for a tax rebate that came in smaller than what he proposed but still amounted to $1,300 for a family of four.

Lawmakers passed a package of $2.6 billion for infrastructure, which has allowed Walz to pose for photos at a bevy of construction projects on roads, bridges and other key infrastructure.

The deal included $300 million for nursing homes, which are newly subject to a labor-friendly sectoral bargaining system.

In one of the Legislature’s first official acts, Minnesota codified abortion rights, becoming a haven in the Upper Midwest even as neighboring states enacted restrictions.

Walz, who was once a fierce gun rights supporter until the 2018 massacre at Parkland High School — which happened as he campaigned for governor — signed two gun control bills in 2023. One extended background checks to all private sales, while a so-called red flag law allows a judge to take a person’s guns if he’s deemed a threat to himself or others.

Walz signed a bill to restore voting rights to people leaving prison. Undocumented people can now get a driver’s license thanks to a bill Walz signed.

A new law mandates a carbon-free electric grid by 2040.

It’s not yet clear what impact these policies will have on the future of Minnesota.

On measures like life expectancy, family income, unemployment, education attainment and violent crime, the Minnesota metrics during Walz’s tenure have mostly risen and fallen alongside national trends, with Minnesota near the top in many of these quality-of-life metrics.

Easy. She thinks he'll lock in not only Minnesota, but Wisconsin, AND Michigan

Kelly was not popular with the unions but i still thinka. better choice. It's hard to attack a astronaut and a man who' wife was the victim of gun violence while serving her country. Not to mention a border state.

But Walz has a way of speaking that is much stronger and more easy to understand than Kelly. And his attacks on Vance and Trump as weird are clearly driving the Republicans crazy.

The worst you can say about Walz is he had a DUI 25 years ago but when the other ticket has 34 felonies and is guilty of sexual assault i don't think that matters.

Sentences are not paragraphs StHoChiMihnCity79. You really should learn to be proficient in a second language before you try to argue with it.

And if you did mean the second paragraph, Walz is the governor of Minnesota, Meathead

Walz is in good company. Senator Blumenthal is in that boat as well. Contrary to popular opinion, Blumenthal's issues pre-date Trump.
