wanted: holiday homestay with amish family

I'd like to live 1-3 weeks with an Amish family in St. Mary's country over late December and January for a research project about the refusal of technology.

If you have any contacts, or ideas for leads, please let me know. I'd like to get in touch and discuss the specifics with any interested family. I will be able to pay my way for food and lodging in exchange for participation in everyday activities with the family.

It's not all that secretive a lifestyle. I have plenty of friends who are or who were in the church. Perhaps you could go to the farmers market in Hughesville and talk to some of the folks down there.

Or you could date one.
