Do NOT buy GE..Just my personal opinion. When we built our house we did every appliance in GE and have had to replace every last appliance. Now most appliances we have are either Maytag or WhirlPool and they are great. In the washer/dryer department I would go with Maytag if it were my choice. I currently have Maytag and I love them; I have the large capacity and I can wash my King size comforters without a problem. Good Luck!

I have GE Profile series washer and dryer, about eight years old still look brand new and no breakdowns. Bigger is better. I'd buy GE again.
