Has anyone seen today's Washington Post Metro section? Front page has an article about Facchina's plans to turn more than half of the Mill Run Horse Farm property into a gravel mine. The proposal would add 200 trucks daily, back and forth on Rt 6. The article also states that Charles County's comprehensive plan has made it a priority to retain the county's rural character and open spaces. Let's hope this proposal doesn't get approved.
