And just to clarify a few things... Life jackets are not required to be worn unless you are a child under a certain age. Common sense dictates that if you can't swim, you should wear one when out on a small vessel....and no life vest to be found.....if you are that stupid NOT to wear one, you deserve to be taken out of the gene pool...

The man did put on his life vest. Maybe hypothermia set in and he slipped out of it. We don't know why he died.
Whether I or anyone else take this idiot serious is not the point. There is a devastated family grieiving a loss and I couldn't imagine how they would feel if they read that comment. I know I would be pretty upset with the poster of the comment and the site for condoning it.
