Why do you put in at smallwood -- they close after a certain point... at least at Slavens you don't have to come out of the water a certain time and if you need gas or anything - smallwood is around the corner. - oh yeah and the fee is alot cheaper and there's a convenience store that sells food and other fishing items too (during the day). I got hauled out and escorted back to the peir by DNR last year for not having life jackets... so I went in there and thought for sure I'd have to pay out the nose for them being sold right there but they were only 9.99  also - it just seemed more like a straight shot for you down 210 until you get to the base.

Being on the Fire Dept has it's advantages. We can get in and out of Smallwood any time we want. With more ramps there's less of a wait.

Noah is not only a hottie but exceptionally smart for a two year old. Fate wouldn't be kind enough to let me have two attractive smart kids. This one is bound to be hot but simple like his father.
Josh is a little cutie too, doesn't look a thing like his dad (except he has his nose and eyelashes). He's smarter than a lot of 2 year olds as far as motor skills and all that, but I'd say he's probably right on the mark speech-wise and all that. I tell ya though, this kid can hit a baseball with a baseball bat (without a tee), put a football in the little tee thing correctly and kick it, kick a small tennis ball, etc. He even found a hockey stick up in Delaware and was hitting balls with it in D's parents' basement (all the while saying "Watch, I hit the ball!"). I've decided he's gonna be a pro athlete.

B and I are colored very similarly except he has darker skin so people we just meet always just assume Noah is his. After meeting B his baby sitter before last who lived down the street from my mom and was a New Yorker and very nosey and blunt asked me if I was sure Noah was Rob's and not B's. I told her if I could pin it on ANYONE besides Rob I would have. Unfortunately I didn't even meet B until Noah was 2 months old. Even my grandmother who just met B in June remarked how much they looked a like when B was holding him. But more people tell me he looks just like me.

I'm seriously going to be scared of him as he gets older. He is the smartest thing I've ever seen at that age. The way that he puts things together amazes me. I know I use to outwit my mom to get my way and I know he's going to do it to me. I asked him something the other day in the car and he replied with "Uh hu" I don't let him speak slag so I looked at him and asked him "What did you say?" He said back, and with attitude I may add "I told you yes!" He's 2 and already a smartass. I didn't think 2 year olds could reason like that. He's going to be trouble. :frown:

Josh's dad almost looks Italian or hispanic, dark skin, black hair and brown eyes. When Josh was born he had a dark complexion and black hair, but his skin eventually got lighter and his hair is more of a sandy-brown color now, and of course he has those marvelous blue eyes. His parents think he looks just like his dad, but he doesn't. They just like to talk out of their azz (they even said something about him having brown eyes, and the kid's eyes are so dang blue you can see them from across the room). I'm not gonna get into the resemblence between him and the bf, don't want "aps" to twist my words :lmao:

No one has ever said that Noah looks like his dad, not even his own family. They all say he looks just like me. B is going to meet my ex MIL this Saturday.

I wouldn't make D go through that, and now that Josh is gonna be mine and only mine I'll never have to! Joshua's grandfather is a great man, but he's a pushover, and his wife rules him with an iron fist. Her daughter is better than his kids, she talks out the side of her mouth saying she wants to see Josh, but she doesn't want anyone outside their family to know the whole situation. She asks the most inane questions, and you answer them, but she'll turn around the next day and tell everyone something completely different to make you look bad. I was down there around Christmas time and had the pleasure of letting her know what I think about her when she said something to intentionally hurt her step-daughter.

OMG! You just described my mother-in-law! I've watched her emotionally abuse her adult kids for almost 20 years now and can't believe that some people call this love. :burning:

2 days after her step-son died she told his sister that "God didn't take him, his sin did". And her husband is a Baptist preacher!

Didn't you know her hormones control the weather? Notice she's been levelling off recently, and we've been getting tons and tons of rain? Coincidence? I think not.

I'd watch out there missy. Several people have recently told me that you act just like I did before those hormones. Mine are leveling off and my tubes soon to be tied and I'll be sure to never be pregnantly insaine again. Your tubes are still intact and you never know what can happen.... I find when I cast dispersions they usually turn around and bite me in my arse.

But I was just trying to be funny...:bawl:

I think I can safely say that I will not be getting pregnant anytime soon...I've always acted like this.
