Wedding cakes and Photographers

Anyone know of any photographers under 1,000.00, or any good wedding cake designers???? If I had known what I was getting into I would have gone to the courthouse.

Not sure what packages he has to offer but I am using Images by Darren for my photography and Anita's for my cake.

I PM'd you a name for a wedding cake.. for mine - for 200 ppl we paid like $450 ??? and it was a REALLY GOOD cake.. :drool:

Jeneva's (not sure if they are still in PF) and Sweet Sues in North Beach make great looking and tasting cakes.

dupauls in prince frederick is making my cake for about 300 dollars. It's big enough for over a hundred people.

Mary Ellen Brown did my wedding cake - it was awesome! It was a tiered cake with a fountain and smaller cakes around it - I think I paid $250??

Jeneva's is awesome, actually no they are more than awesome, but she's pretty expensive. I'm sure you could get something for less than $1k AND it's going to taste splendid!!!

Just remeember one thing when you think about cutting costs. You get what you pay for. This is a video/ or photo that you will have for the rest of your life, and will pass down to the future.

There was a couple that married and had their wedding filmed. A few days after the wedding, the brides father died of a heart attack. Ask her how much the film of him walking her down the isle was worth or watching their father/daughter dance. It was priceless to her. This is just one of many examples I could give you to try to explain the value...

You will get what you pay for. If you are happy with relatives doing it for free... If you want to hire someone Cheapie... or if you hire a professional. Just make sure you capture the day and make it the best it can be. :huggy:
