Wedding location ideas

My Aunt does weddings at the Huntington ( sp ) Fire house

I guess a firehouse would be the "less costly" location, huh? I was hoping for something a little more upscale, but maybe this is the way to go.
I'll let you know if that's the route I want to take & get the info from you.
Thanks

Married twice! Honey I think you should have learned by now. It only took me one time. If I get married again, it's gonna be to a woman!!
How you doin'? ( in my best Joey voice)

Doesn't HAVE to be in St. Mary's. Most of our family lives in AA County. Budget.... I really don't want to spend ANY money, but I know that's unrealistic. I don't know, under $2k

is that for the hall or the entire wedding?

Maybe Ray will let us get married at Toot's Bar. That's more my style, anyway. In a biker bar with one of the "Bikers for Christ" officiating. Hey, I think I just had a light bulb go off in my head

Have you considered the VFW hall in California? You can do as much or as little to decorate the hall as you want and have someone cater.

I am looking to have a small, casual ceremony & reception sometime in Nov/Dec. and I'm looking for some suggestions & prices (if you know them). I personally want to just go to the courthouse, but my fiance said he's been there/done that and doesn't want to do it again. I've had the big traditional wedding before, and I don't want that either, so I've decided to compromise. I'm not planning on wearing a dress/having flowers, etc. but would like to have the family & close friends there, and exchange vows have some food, cut the cake & call it a day. Don't get me wrong... I want it to be nice & memorable, just not looking to have a large crowd & spend alot of money.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We are getting married at sotterly in dec. the barn is 250.00 a hour and the old warehouse which is very charming for a winter wedding it is 150.00 a hour with a minumum of 2 hrs. The warehouse however would only hold about 20 people comfortably. I checked out greenwell and its looking a bit run down, They do have a lil chapel there though which holds a max of 12 to 15 people. I was so disapointed with how the grounds looked however so I didnt get pricing for greenwell.

I'm in St. Mary's County. Vegas is a great idea and I LOVE IT, however, I need to think of the family. We have 6 kids between the 2 of us, as well as parents & friends. Not fair to expect them to bare the expense and I certainly can't fork it out for all of them
I got married in Las Vegas. It was just me and hubby. We had lots of pictures and online video for family and friends to view. It was perfect for us because it was what we wanted.
