What are your recommendations for different wedding vendors in the southern maryland area. I already have the church and site/catering booked and the dress picked out. I am looking for people's experiences with different dj's, photographers, florists, etc.

Anita's Cakes in Lexington Park is the best! The cakes taste and look AMAZING! I had so many compliments after using her.

For Wedding Photographer - Armin Defiesta is also amazing...very expensive, but after looking at his blog photos, it isn't hard to see why!

somdweddings.com is a good resource. Marc Shubrooks is the best DJ I think, but Elite Beatz (Jimmy Guy) is very good also. Right on with Anita - very good tasting and looking cake. Country Bouquet Florist - very reasonable and does great work. If reception is in spring or summer, Scarborough Farms does great stuff using all fresh flowers from her farm.

If you need invitations or Bridal planning, Mary Rahall (Waldorf Engraving) is one of the nicest and most competent people in the industry!
