Had a wonderful weekend! It's a really nice place and we had a fantastic room in one of the cottages that had a balcony overlooking the Potomac River. We chose not to eat in the formal dining room, but instead had a couple beers and then dinner in the Rathskeller (informal dining, but the same menu as the main dining room).
We stayed for Sunday brunch before heading home. I think the best part of the brunch menu was the carving station. They had Prime Rib, Roast Pork Loin and Smoked Turkey. We left before 1pm - that's when they start serving the bloody mary's and champaign.
I'd recommend it as a nice get away spot. We were fortunate to have the nice warmer weather this weekend, but I bet it would be so pretty out there if there was some snow.
