With all of the stores closing in looney leftists run cities due to crime, the next move for the despotic politicians is to start whining about the "Food Desert" that exists whereas there are no stores in the neighborhoods where people can shop for food and other necessities. Of course, the majority of the people who live in those areas are good citizens, but as usual, a few bad apples ruin it for everyone.
Why would they make sure people stay in line? Seems much more in character that they would just turn the food over to the localThe next step is government run food distribution centers with armed guards to make sure everyone stays in line. Yeah, but it's a different kind of control here. There are people that won't stand for bread lines and might organize against it. But you let half the people devolve into chaos and the other half will spend their time worrying about their safety and security without an obvious bad guy to push back against.I'm thinking of the days of bread lines in the old Soviet Union.
