I saw a sign for the Christmas Walk in Solomons today, what's that like?

What are the other happenings in So Md during the holidays?

What's the best? Worst? Not worth the price, etc...
Thanks!

So there's no santa or lighted sailboats, people walking around drinking peppermint schnaps, mobs of people...is it like downtown Annap? Crazy with people and no place to park.

PubCrawl in Annapolis is a blast! I did that once many years ago.

Where are my pants?
Last year we drove down to one of the farms on old Flat Iron road (in St. Mary's) that was lit up like a city. They had a "petting manger" and an old time Christmas town on display, with refreshments and whatnot on sale.

It was geared more toward kids, but I'm a Christmas light feind, so I got a kick out of it.

There is a lot more than just the lighting of the tree! All kinds of music, vendors and things to do. The event starts at 5:00 goes until 9:00. Check out the calendar to see a list of all that is happening. Jane Deborah Vincent will be signing copies of her book "Hard Crabs and Cultured Pearls, a Southern Maryland Love Story" at Fenwick Street Used Books and Music from 5 to 6 pm. (a little plug for my shop). Hope to see you there!

The lights at Annemarie Gardens (Dowell Rd) are nice if you are into lights. I think it is $5.00 per car.
The holiday home tour in St. Mary's is on the 6th of Dec. Check the Enterprise and the Recorder for directions to the houses on the tour. This is a fundraiser for HealthShare of St. Mary's. I think it is $5.00 per house also, but this is becoming a big time event.
