I have a security device I must wear when going to Whole Foods. If I wander within 10 feet of the cheese counter I get tazed. I had to do this because everytime I went in there I left with $80 worth of cheese. Most of it I could not even pronounce.

I am fond of Brie with melon
Brie with apples
Alpine lace swiss
Havarti with dill
Smoked moz
Any type of cheddar
Any Italian cheese
Gouda
Muenster
Feta
Gorgonzola
Bleu

I love cheese! Almost all types, except for the bleu cheese types. However, I broadened my cheese horizons over at Vrai's place a couple of times. She had a bleu cheese that I really liked, but I can't remember the name. :ohwell:

You liked it when it was crumbled over steak bites with caramelized onion on crostini. And I believe you liked the blue brie as well - that was on crackers with fig jam.

For a wine tasting once I did a warm blue cheese dip drizzled with truffle honey. :hot:

not a brie fan. If its smothered in fruit or osmething I don't mind but its not something I go out of my way to eat. But I have to cast another vote for smoked gouda...and theres one I got at wegmans once or twice thats a smoked gouda with bacon  Super charp chedder is my favorite for straight eating and I love putting fontina in cheese sauces I have tried to eliminate diary from my diet many times..but cheese kills that idea every time
