:bs:"The agreement placing the changes on an inactive docket calls for Hollywood residents Eric Thomas McKay, 20, and Larry Wayne Adkins Jr., 21, to perform an unspecified number of hours of community service, authorities said before the afternoon’s court proceedings began." So how many hours did they get?:bs:

"Carroll pleaded guilty in April to possessing counterfeit currency during the roadside police search in Park Hall, and to later distributing cocaine to a police informant in Park Hall. He was sentenced last month to serve six years in prison for the felony drug offense, and a concurrent 18-month prison sentence for possessing an image of U.S. currency with the intent to defraud."

So one guy gets 18 months in jail for money MaKay and Adkins Printed and they get nothing.

:blahblah: ‘‘It was about Eric McKay being guilty only of having the last name McKay,” defense lawyer Thomas McManus said :bs: It was ALL ABOUT BEING LUCKY TO HAVE THE LAST NAME McKay.

Like the one at FT DIx.. where they had to renovate the BRAND new barrakcs they had built for our soldiers, because they weren't good enough for the federal inmates??

Carroll got six for the coke, and 18 months for the having the funny money.

The politically connected guys got community service for making the funny money.

That'd be like giving a meth user 18 months for possesion, then giving the guy who cooked the meth community service.

Life as a McKay must be sweet. Laws? I can get around those! And at campaign time, I can use the reverse 911 to get my name out there! Sweet!

Lawyers (McKay's) say the funniest things. ‘‘It was about Eric McKay being guilty only of having the last name McKay,”
Does that mean Daddy should be prosecuted too?

You're all F'in Mad...
Apparently, the money was printed at Eric McKay's mother's home where he lives (Tommy's ex-wife.) The Adkins boy used the counterfeit money to buy drugs from one of the few drug dealers in this county dumb enough to get busted, because that sure doesn't happen around here often. Then the police tracked the money back to Adkins who ratted out McKay.

I personally don't care if the rats use counterfeit money to buy their drugs... :ohwell:

Let's see what type of sentence the 2 girls from Hollywood get for their counterfit money they tried passing at CVS in Leon., and got caught burning in their grill when police got there. That will tell the true story of who gets special treatment.

Don't know much about the funny money....only know that little Eric Mckay ain't that great on the track.

Thinks he is.....has nothing to do but practice all day long, with no job....but the big boys spank him time and time again.

Been there, done that.

But when you are talking federal prisons for military members, those are totally different then the federal country clubs civilians are sent to.

Aren't you talking like Ft Leanard Wood? I was offered to do that, and depending on the length of their stay determined where they were going.. only the LONG deployments were sent to Ft LW.. some were sent to Ft Knox.. Ft Benning.. etc..

Isn't McKay running for election again? Funny, sounds like something Fritz would do.
On my way home today I saw signs saying he was running for senate. I remember the day a family scandal like this would have lead to a candidate removing himself from the race. Guess those days are gone.
