Looked at the local online paper, it's Columbus Day.
Looked at an online paper from a blue state, it's Indigenous People's Day, and a huge article on the 'rebranding' of Columbus Day.
Frankly, I don't work, so I don't get off whatever day it is, everyday is a day off. Nothing changes, there are still sales at the stores regardless of what it's called. But I am getting tired of the 'woke' crowd trying to change everything we've known for generations, just to make themselves feel better about themselves.
