How old is she?

Roxy is fixed also but has a slipped ovary (she has an ovary somewhere they can't find) and will still go into "heat".
She will be 2 in October.

She has a 11:40 at St.Mary's Vet Hospital.

Any chance she'll roll over to let you rub her belly? Could get a good look at the tail then...

She will let me rub her belly but when I get to her tail she will roll over and start to lick it  But She is going in at 11:40 and I hope it is nothing She is my world and I love her and hate to see her like this. She even got to sleep on my pillow with me last night I felt so bad. I wanted to do anything to make her feel better.

I hope all goes well for you Stang. My Boo gets hot spots in the summer but he never responds like your pooch is. For whatever reason, I am thinking maybe your dog got stung by a bee. Keep us posted :yay:
I hope it is something small like that. What is a Hot spot?

It's just a spot that they choose to chew endlessly and it makes sores. I get Boo shaved to try and prevent them, but wouldn't you know it...four days later, he's got them :duh:

It's strange that your dog is keeping its tail tucked under. I am thinking it really hurts. With Boo, the hot spots don't seem to hurt to the point where he wouldn't move his tail. Did it get shut in a door by chance?

No it didn't get shut in the door, I am thinking Petie and her were playing and he hurt her. They get playing hard and run into walls and the table so maybe that's what it is. She could have fell off the bed trying to look out the window? But I am going to meet her at the vet right now so I will get back to you all soon. Wish me luck!!!!!

Full update on Jasmine

She is doing well she has inflamed Anal Glands.
They are going to monitor her to make sure she does not have Anal Sac Disease. If it goes to this she will have to have surgery to get them removed. So she is walking funny right now they had to go up that end and the reason about her tail was because she didn't want anyone to go up that way. I am so thankful it is nothing else.
Thank You all for helping!!!! :flowers:

Love,
Stang

I'm soooo glad you took her, Stang. She was definately needing some help. Will you be expressing her anal glands for her now...

Does she scoot her butt across the floor/carpet? That's usually a sign that her anal glands are blocked.

She did it a few times but I thought it itched. :lmao:

It does and it's irritating for them, too. She was just trying to relieve herself. Poor baby! I'm glad she's well and it was nothing serious. Give her a :huggy: from all of us.

Glad to hear Jasmine is ok! Precious had anal gland issues about a year ago. After a few "milkings" and some butt cream, she was fine.
