Mig, I don't buy :funky" leeks. :lol:

No no no....Leeks are dirty little veggies and you have to really get down in the grooves to get the dirt out or else you are eating ick. That's why you slice them open and swish them around in water.

You should have let me stick with the word agitate. :mad:

Brussel Sprouts: cut them in half, throw them in a ziploc with some Kosher salt, a bit of garlic and a splash of EVOO, let them marinate for a while. Throw them in an oven-save baking dish, cover, and into the oven until tender. I like to wait until they start to brown a bit.

Parsnip: required veggie for vegetable or chicken soup stock! Don't add too much, one small one, or it makes the soup too sweet.

Acorn Squash: cut in half and de-seed. Put some maple syrup and brown sugar in the hole, wrap in foil and put it on the BBQ grill on a high rack until tender.

$60 isn't too bad. I am going to order one next payday. I wish it was buy one get one free...lol! I love there yard whine and cup holders. My MIL is going to love that for mothers day.

Be REALLY nice to BadGirl and you'll be amazed at what she can pull off sometimes..
