Simply list your camera model, an option or ability it has that you like, and one that you dislike or it doesn't have that you wish it did!

I like the panarama mode that stitches 3 pics together and the great zoom.
Don't like that you can't zoom in movie mode and it's inability to use the 2g memory card that came with it.
Might work with a different card, but that one locks it up to the point I have to take the batteries out to reset it.

Where are my pants?
I have the Nikon CoolPix, and I like everything about it EXCEPT that it takes forever to snap a shot. Seriously, you press the button and it's literally two seconds before the flash goes off and the shot is taken--and by that time the subject has changed positions or moved out of the frame altogether. This is an issue I've had with a lot of digital cameras, though.

Canon EOS 20D

I dislike life in general ( not the camera ) for not allowing me enough time to figure the damn thing out!

One or two things you might be able to try on your camera to help that.

First try to hold your shutter button half way down and let the camera focus then push it the rest of the way down to snap your pictures. This will let you get good focus and camera may react faster.

Second thing to try is look in you manual for a continuous shoot mode, this shoots much faster.

For me, The Nikon D90. I think low noise at very high ISO is the biggest thing on this camera. The thing I wish it had would be having 6 or 9 frames per second. Four is great but that would be killer to have those extra frames. Then again I could shoot video and pull frames out if I wanted the extra work.

Also use high speed cards. Older, cheaper memory cards can be VERY slow to record and recover.

I have an Casio Exlim Z-80. It takes terrific pictures, lots of different, easily accessible modes (sunset, backlit, frontlit, closeup, macro, etc...), easy metering change from normal to spot, large LCD.

I don't like that it doesn't have a charging port, so you have to remove the battery to charge it. When you do, you have to reset time/date. It also does not have a real viewfinder. I really miss that.

That's why I recently got rid of mine and bought the Sony Cybershot. I got the $179 model for $129 Black Friday. It has a feature that automatically snaps a shot when the subject smiles. I think it's pretty cool! I've been wanting this camera for several months and I'm glad I held off buying it because I scored it at a great deal. :yay:

I got the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S650 ($129?) last year on Black Friday for about $80. I don't like that it doesn't zoom as far as I'd like, and I can't change the shutter speed. I would love a DSLR, but I don't have the money for one or the time to learn right now.

THis would not slow it down in snapping the picture it would just slow down how long until its ready for the next picture.

But that can be a pain as well!

You're right, I was thinking in terms of continuous mode.... a slow card there would be really noticeable.

I have an Olympus SP560UZ. I like mostly everything about the camera itself and what it does. I don't fully understand some of the settings yet, but I am still learning. I don't like the fact that I can not yet get it to zoom the way I think it should, but that is my fault for not taking the time to study and learn. One day I may own a DSLR too.

I have the Pentax K10D DSLR. I like the images from it and the fact that it has weather sealing, but hate low light focusing issues.

Canon 40D. Like the big screen, weather sealing, highlight priority, and sensor cleaning among other things. Don't like that it can not morph into a 50D or 5D MII. :ohwell:
