What exactly is a "Gob"?

1 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 c. pumpkin

Mix well sugar, Crisco, egg and pumpkin. Add flour, soda, baking powder and spices. Blend well. Drop by tablespoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.

GOB ICING:

5 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk

Cook until thick, cool. Add: 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. butter (should be room temp.)
Using beater beat until fluffy and refrigerate before spreading on gobs.
