I agree, unfortunately, my granddog seems to think everything is okay with us being a one dog household. LOL. I swear he and my old girl got along wonderfully, but he doesnt want any other dog in the house now. May try again in a month see if he's changed his mind. I would love to have another with the personality and sweetness of my ole Nikki girl, just dont know if I can find another one as sweet as she was.

When Molly-Dog passed away in 2010, I didn't think I would be able to find another dog, that could steal my heart like Molly did. Well..I did find another Pup, and we love her to death!! I remember you taking in that other Pup not long ago, but because he is a male, he & your Granddog didn't get along. I would be happy to bring Meatball to meet the Granddog, to see if they get along. I just think it's a Male & Male issue.

Awww. Thanks Roman, I appreciate the offer. My other daughter has a female mini dachsund and he does seem to get along with her when she comes over, but I'm just not sure how he would be around one who lives here 24/7. I dont mean to paint a bad picture of King, he is sweet as he can be, but, wants to be the "King" when it comes to other dogs. As I said, I may try again in a month or two. I'm glad you found another 4legged sweetie, I know I will meet one one day and she will melt my heart. Probably will go to the animal shelter, thats where I found my girl at.

She got the last of her puppy shots today. Glad that's over.

We're going to try her out camping this weekend, hoping she'll do well since we camp a lot and I don't want to leave her in a kennel. We have a camper so, she'll be comfy. She's so spoiled.
