My mom told me times have changed: On her way to highschool her and her friends would goto the drive through liquor store with their car, get some strawberry hill boones farm and 4 cups of ice... The cashier person would even pour it for them!

Duke's Bar in Leonardtown. You could get a "to go" drink in any bar. This is St.Mary's County.

I was drinking before I could drive. I was stuck with the bars I could get to by boat. There used to be a sign above the door at Penny's in Leonardtown that said, "Minors drink at their own risk." If you were tall enough to put your money on the bar and bold enough to ask for it, you were served.

I was all the way in the back of the store, with my two kids. I didnt have my cell phone either. I DID speak to a manager.
