Why do fathers love to sic their sons on other people's daughters, but reach for their guns when other people's sons come around looking for their daughters? Why do we treat the subject of love and relationships as though it's hunting season? My daughters won't be anyone's hunting trophies. Where did we get the idea that males are hunters and females are prey?
