As far as talent goes, I think Jr has some. Is he the greatest, of course not. But I wouldn't compare him to a Casey Mears or a Jamie McMurray. I think Jr's problem can be summed up in one word. Communication. Jr is not a good talker. Watch any of his interviews and he fumbles and stutters through it. I just don't think he can effectively tell Tony Jr what he needs the car to do. I also think Tony Jr can't take away the information that Dale is giving him. I think a crew chief change would be a world of difference. Dale needs a crew chief that draws out of him the information he needs to set the car up correctly. I also think Dale Jr is distracted with all of the sponsorship commercials, Whiskey River and all of the other things he has going on. And one other thing, what kind of pressure do you think the man has on him to perform. He is the son of one of the greatest drivers in the world and now driving for one of the top teams in one of the top sanctioning bodies in the world. Oh, and I am not a Jr fan, by the way.
