My mother got my oldest daughter a pair of diamond and sapphire earrings for her 21st birthday. They were under 160.00 dollars and something my daughter has cherrished since her grandmother passed away a few months later. I got her a gold chain and charm that said daughter which she still wears. Other then a nice piece of jewerly I am not sure. Is there something she has left hints about wanting? If she is still in college, maybe a nice laptop. Yes all are a little pricey but she is only 21 once in her life.

a daughter turning 21, not including alcohol? Something special that won't bust the bank.

What would be sweet would be take her to a jewelry store and offer to get anything on her body pierced.

You can also do this in a tattoo parlor.

Remember....your family traditions are unique to your family.

I think a nice piece of jewelry too. Maybe a diamond tennis bracelet or stud earrings. You can usually get either of those for under $150.00. Whatever you decide, she will love it.

Vegas is my vote! The best gift my parents gave me on my 21st. It was not to expensive either. Try one of those discount travel places like orbitz.com I promise it will be the most memorable its the only 21st and she has waited for a long time for this day to come. Plus, it will make it look like your a cool parent :lmao:

Thanks for the ideas. As much as I'd like to go to Vegas, it's not an option. I was already thinking jewlery, now I'll have to make a decision on what kind.

Well w/ no alcohol would she be expecting? If so what about a nice locket to hold her baby photo and one of her new baby. :huggy:

Did you look for a gift at the Book Club next to the donut shop ?
Hint, if you buy a gift that requires batteries, please buy some batteries too !
