Gwen Stefani irks me. I've never liked her, but at least when she was with No Doubt, I respected her craft. I don't know who talked her into acting like a teeny-boppin' pop star, but it's not working. It's like she's trying to be another Britney/Christina, but somebody forgot to remind her that she's too damn old and has zero rythym. She is a sell-out.

I've liked Gwen Stefani for the past 10 years, and I don't think she's about selling out -- I think she's just having fun trying different kinds of music. Each album, she sounds different -- there were a few albums before Tragic Kingdom that sounded more ska than "just a girl" or "don't speak" and by the time "hey baby" and "hella good" came out, her sound changed dramatically. So don't knock Gwen for her music, and at least she's telling all the girls that she's *not* a hollaback girl instead of having a bunch of guys in her music video and dancing in a string bikini. Mariah Carey on the other hand, I don't know what her deal is....

I didn't realize there would be so many Gwen Stefani haters out there, since her music is near the top of the charts. I mean, she's not my favorite, but her music is kind of catchy sometimes. I didn't like her new song when it first came up, but now it's kind of burrowed itself into my head. Is that brainwashing?

I like No Doubt and Gwen Stefani and I find the music very catchy.
