A camera with more mega pixel or frames per second? I ask because i like the Canon EOS D50 and the Canon Rebel T2i EF-S.
Isn't frames per second for movies?
I wasn't sure. I am still reading and comparing the both. What are your views on each?
It is continuous shots per second.
that's usually for capturing action. The moment the foot ball leaves the hand, spit and sweat flying at the moment of impact on a boxer's face, etc.
Your kids in front of the Christmas tree, 1 shot every 5 seconds is OK
The 50D is 15.1 MP and 6.3 fps. The T2i has 18 MP and 3.7 fps.that's usually for capturing action.

MP is not really an issue anymore, because even 10 MP can give big prints; 15+ can go poster-size.
If you do a fair amount of action, the fps is important.
The 50D is only a few bucks more than the other; I'd get that one.
