How about the "Worst Places" list

My ballot goes to St. Mary's Landing on that list. Went twice. Lunch and Dinner. The food was lousy and the waitress was near impossible to find.:boo:

Lone Star loses another customer

I went to Lone Star today to have lunch and was that a mistake! We waited for 15 minutes for a table. Once we were escorted to our table we stood around the table looking like a bunch of lost souls until the staff finally brought us chairs. The waitress forgot to bring our drinks until reminded. My steak sandwich was not edible. It was the thinnest cut I had ever seen in my life. It was delivered well done, not medium rare like I had asked. The manager offered to prepare me another one but, I had to turn down her offer as I only have an hour for lunch. Needless to say I think Lone Star is terrible.

Reasons for eating at Lone Star:
1. I enjoy overcooked food
2. I enjoy waiting over 1 hour for lunch.
3. I enjoy poor service.

Well I am curious as to what everyone thinks of top local restaurants. Damons, Rubys, Outback, Applebees, and Lone Star.

Damon's: I like the atmosphere a lot... wait staff has been great in my experience. Food is not that great...unless u get the ribs.

Ruby Tuesdays: haven't been there in almost a year... food is not that great... atmosphere is ok... wait staff is ok...

Outback Steakhouse: Good food... very fulfilling and tasty. A little pricey. Good atmosphere.

Applebees: food is good for the price you pay. YUMMY desserts. Atmosphere not to great.... wait staff is ok. In comparison to Ruby Tuesdays, Applebees gets my vote.

Lone Star: food is pricey for not too tasty food. Atmosphere is not too great. Wait staff are just ...BLAH... not very involved. In comparison to Outback, Outback gets my vote.

That's all folks. :howdy:

IMHO, I consider those the top CHAIN restaurants, not top local restaurants...
