9/11 - Never Forget!
American automobile manufacturers suspended production during February 1942 with all output going toward the war effort but my favorite of the ones that did make it out into civilian life would be the Packard even though I believe it still carried a 1941 identity.

I'd love an old Vette, the ones with the flat back. I have no idea what year that was, but I'd like one cept I'm too old to get in and out of one. I'd like a volkswagon thing just for fun. We drove one on our honeymoon, came with the condo in Puerto Vallarta, and it was a fun car, though I don't think I ever drove it. Just memories.....

I am so very blessed
My neighbor has a 60's era bus, but it's the open back pickup version. Asked if he'd be willing to part with it, but he still has plans to fix it up.

There's a guy a used to work with in Ridge that has a yard full of them. It's what he does. He buys them, fixes them up, and looking at his yard, keeps them..

If you ride out toward Schiebels you'll see what I mean.
