What restaurant has the best food in the area?

there is a BK, McD's, Taco Hell, and KFC all within 30 feet of each other in Calvert. You gain 5 pounds just driving past them.

The BK must be at a secret location, or is it an invisible building?

Twenty Something
Monterrey's is amazing for Mexican food (San Souci in California)
Oga's -- for the sushi (on the Square in Leonardtown)
Linda's Cafe has good breakfast (both in Lexington Park and in Leonardtown)

I really don't like the chain restaurants (ie Ruby Tuesdays, Bob Evans, Outback -- and Cheeseburger in Paradise is overrated. It's good food, but it's not *amazing*)

Wow, you have BKs down there. I don't think there are any in Calvert. Oh, and as far a McD's in Calvert. They are the worst McD's I've ever been to. The one's in PF and Ches. Beach are pathetic.

:yeahthat: You can add Dunkirk to that list. :barf:

Vera's is my new favorite. Not sure what it was like before, but after the remodel job, it's a nice enough place and the food has been great. Boated up there yesterday for lunch and the burger I had was awesome. Wife had fish and fries and she liked it a lot too. Really nice view if you can sit out on the deck.

I vote for the Dry Dock! The Tides is ok...but a little too pretentious. I also think Ricks is the best for a sandwich...the cheese steak is the best this side of Philidelphia
