He was (is) such an unbelievably insecure person he HAD to get rid of Derrick St. Holmes, a guy who actually could sing, because Ted couldn't stand the idea of anyone thinking it wasn't ALL the Ted Nugent Show.

But, yeah, he could then and still now play some rock and roll!
