What we need is a dictator

run down the street with nothing on, but a bandana around their pecker and a party noise-maker sticking out of their buttholes for all I care.

Yeah, I mind that. I'm a big fan of public decorum and consideration. They they want to butt-plug with noisemakers in the privacy of their own home, yay them. But when they do it in front of me they make it my business.

But it may be worth it for the rest of us to swim in the streets running red with the blood of those who deserve it.

 You do have a way with words.

Legalizing all drugs does not equal funding and supporting their habit,

In our current political environment it does. Which is my one and only problem with drug legalization - how it affects me personally.

However, I do not think they deserve a bullethole in the head for making themselves heard, as you seem to suggest in your first post..

I'm uninterested in most whining, and don't believe I should be forced to listen to it. If they want to bitch on the internet and publish manifestos, have a happy. My one and only problem with their "free speech" is when they make it my problem. Write a letter to the editor and stay your ass out of the road.

But I also don't think every crackpot deserves to be heard. Many - most - of them are a waste of time and space and all they do is draw other crackpots to form a club, and before you know it crackpottery becomes empowered[1].

I have no doubt that I've shared a restroom with trans people before. But if they make an effort to fit in, nobody cares. It's when they openly come rolling in all combative and "whaddaya gonna do about it?" that makes me combative back. I don't respond well to that sort of thing.

Except that has *never* happened to you.

Well, believe it or not, so am I. I just don't believe it's the place of government or anyone to regulate that.

Thank you.

I thought we were talking about our ideal political environment - in our particular dictatorships.

I realize reforming one problem, without simultaneously reforming the adjacent issues, isn't going to work. And our current system is quite rife with adjacent issues, and issue adjacent to them, and so on and so forth.

I say tear all them shits down.

Again, under my imperial benevolent dictatorship one would be able to defend oneself, without fear of overreaching bitch-loving government intervention.

i.e. You get in my face with your bullshit, and I will get you out of my face with my bullshit. All that liberty and freedom is a two way street in my world, and if one of those lanes has a barrier, I expect it to be knocked the **** down.

But I also don't think every crackpot deserves to be heard. Many - most - of them are a waste of time and space and all they do is draw other crackpots to form a club, and before you know it crackpottery becomes empowered[1].

Meh - I disagree.

That's their tactic right now, and I hate it.
And two-lane liberty is my goal.
