Maybe you need a poll:
"What would be the best way to die" too...

Well everyone has been talking about that suicidal gun weilding man that got shot today and that just got me thinking about death! Plus I love thinking about all the philosophical areas.

Nothing will make you think harder about death than the loss of a parent.

A friend just passed away yesterday after fighting throat cancer for more than two years. He was a very big guy 180 or so by the time the cancer was through with him he weighed 97. I had to carry him down the stairs this last weekend so that he could go to the hospital and get an emergency tracheotemy. The cancer was slowly suffocating him by closing off his airway. I think that that is the worst way any person could die. At least the struggle is over for him now.
This blows my mind. Huntr was the same way. He only went to one funeral before I met him. I've been to so many I've lost count. Went to my first viewing (not the actual funeral) when I was 6, that was my grandfather. Since then I've lost 2 more grandparents, several great aunts/uncles, a coworker, a couple of Huntr's relatives. Shoot, there was a three week period when I was 21 where I went to 3 funerals.Originally posted by BuddyLee
