Don't tell BG, but next time the grandson is over I might 'accidentally' leave a can of paint open the house and see what happens..
Even better, leave them in the garage with spray paint and your bike! That would be awesome!

It would depend on if it was my kids and my house or a friends kids at friends house. The latter, I'd :killingme:killingme:killingme for a very long time.

What if it was your bike?

nothing that can't be repaired or cleaned.. it's inanimate so i doubt it cares.

As long as they don't get hurt could care less.. day or two nobody would even know it had happened.

I'd rather find them(or my bike) like this than find them in a zombie like state staring at the TV or playing a video game.

You want an active, adventurous, and curious kid (who'll turn into a pretty cool adult), you have to take the bad with the good.

Heh I remember our two year old asked for some crackers (those white rectangular ones), so we gave him a handful and he wandered off to his room (not an uncommon event). Presently we hear -brrrrrt- .... -brrrrrt-

"hmmmm" says we "whats that?"

turns out he opened up our room and was throwing the crackers into the oscilating fan we have on our dresser.

a fine spray of cracker was coating the floor

I acted like I was mad, but was secretly laughing, because really, what a funny thing to do with crackers

He is awesome =)

If only my dad had that outlook while I was growing up.:nono:

the benefits of being an 'older' parent of a two year old..

little things just aren't worth getting upset about.

Not saying this is how i would have reacted when my oldest was two.. but yanno, you're supposed to get wiser as you get older.

And you really have to look at the intent of the kids.. were they being mean and evil, or just being 'helpful'... I mean if my older kids spray painted my bike to be mean and to piss me off, well then..

But a two year old.. he's probably thinking.. Daddy LIKES blue, I bet you he'd LOVE me if I painted his bike this pretty blue..

This is my struggle, it's so hard not to laugh at that stuff, even though you really don't want them to do it again.

would homeowner's insurance cover the damages? i.e., replace the carpet, furniture etc. I never filed a claim, but i recall my policy saying that they cover accidents like water leaks, spilled paint etc. If thats the case, i want those kids at my house. :lmao:

I do believe they would, but would you tell them actually how it happened :lmao:
