Tomorrow is going to be another fried turkey. I hate buying that much oil and not getting but one or two uses out of it before it goes rancid.

That is not one I've heard of before but sounds yummy! Do you make it yourself?
I grow basil all summer and make pesto after harvesting and freeze it in small portions for winter use. I either use it with pasta or to make pizzas.
I purchased small thin crusts from Aldi last week and made three. The crusts were ok. I also use Boboli. And just add whatever is on hand.
One caution is that pesto has olive oil in it and can drip and make a mess in the oven. We use a pizza stone and will often put tin foil on the shelf underneath.

Big salad with radishes, cucumbers, shredded carrots, onions, Italian cheese and I love topped with chicken breast, seasoned with garlic, Italian seasoning sautéed in a couple of tablespoons of bacon grease.
