Meatloaf and asparagus. My nephew dropped off a bunch of frozen pouches last week, trying to get Mommy Dearest to eat better. She turned her nose up so I've been eating good!

That will give me plenty for French dips in the coming days.

We had "linner". Hollywood VFD had their stuffed ham and fried oyster dinner today so we went and got some. All the years I've been here, this is the 1st time we've gone and I'm glad we did! It was yummy (havent tried the chicken salad yet), and enough for three or 4 meals for each of us! Got a pineapple upside-down cake at the bake table for dessert, gonna have that and a cup of coffee soon.

I had Arby's rendition of a French dip for supper. The neighbor lady went shopping today and dropped off lunch on her way through. I'd already eaten, but never turn down the kindness of another or free food.

Shawarma-spiced turkey lettuce wraps

These were delicious. Not hearty enough for Monello - he could have used maybe some naan or another filling component. There was a lot for me to have an aversion to - ground turkey, lettuce wraps, white sauce goober....but the whole thing together was amazing and I would eat this again.

After 7 days on a cruise ship last week with some great food and all the alcohol I could drink, it is back to plain old sketti with meat sauce and cheese bread tonight. And water - detox begins now.
