@Sneakers , I'm sorry your chop was rancid. I picked up some center cut chops from Food Dog yesterday. Two of them weren't quite center cut. IDK what cut they were.

I pan fried them seasoned with McCormick bourbon/brown sugar grill mates. I poured the evoo off and de-glazed the pan with kraut. Returned the chops to the pan, covered and simmered about 20 mins. Used the leftover evoo to brown a mashed potato patty.

I finished them off tonight.

I finally ate at Patuxent Ale House. I really don't get the hype - the crabcake, while good, was definitely not outstanding. The Maryland crab soup was just weird tasting - I grew up on that stuff - I know there's beef in it but it's usually always soft melt in your mouth, and not hard chunks like it's beef stew. There was also a nearly total lack of crab meat. The broccoli was undercooked and tasteless, as were the fingerling potatoes and the steak was dry, chewy, and not worth the energy to saw it apart. The blueberry bread pudding was pretty good though.
