Throwing the deuces
As I was going through Sunderland north up to Dunkirk (Rt 4), there was a helicopter with spotlight in the sky and about 10 police cars with lights racing southward. Anyone know what happened and where? There was also about 4 police cars with lights on parked along the road southbound like they were waiting for something.

This was about 4:15am.

I saw the same thing(s) deiving in this morning. Most of the cops on the southbound side had their spotlights shining in the woods, also saw a few out on foot with their flashlights.

I saw them rolling through PF about 0420. I saw a police pick up truck I believe. Might of been a DNRP vehicle but it didn't look green like most of them, this one looked brown. Hard to tell at 420 am though.

They keep saying on the radio that Rt4 has police activity from PG county to Calvert county but they are not saying why.

Think it was a police chase that may have started in PG around Dower House and Rt. 4 and then went into Calvert, from traffic reports I heard on the radio coming to work this morning. Thats just a guess.

OK. You have peaked my interest. Just turned on the speakers for the Calvert Scanner. Not a peep yet but I'll try to listen for a while and see if I can come up with anything.

After about 10 minutes thus far I really don't here anything on the Calvert Scanner telling me anything unusal is currently going on. Sounds like the police have changed shifts and are taking up their routine patrols.

I have the MSP Helo freqs up as well as MD DNR. Those are just about silent.

I heard the call come out this morning on the scanner, car traveling south bound 4 from P.G. County throwing Weapons, and CDS from the windows, relayed through a P.G. Officer that was chasing them because they had just robbed a place in P.G. county. Calvert joined chase and they bailed out of the car in PF. Three Men number 1 males, driver with Deadlocks, and two other passengers on the passengers side of the car, all in gray clothing. Calvert officers caught all three, but they were searching to see if anything else had been dropped by the suspects in the woods.

Yep I never heard anything that said anything is still onging on this. Ok I can trun Calvert back off now. :lmao:

:banghead::banghead:Jeff, I am working now, loooooooonnnnnnng hours. I really miss the forums, and miss what is going on around here, (you'll notice my posts are few and far between) I can't listen to my scanner at work, :bawl: I did happen to notice coming home tonight that there were a lot of circles painted in the road in the south bound lane just north or Sunderland. Anyone know what this is about? It's going to take me a long time to get used to working outside of the home again. :burning:
