What's with BB Cream?

BM started making my face itch a bit when I use it alone, ie not with a primer or BB..but only the matte version of the powder..my "reg" BM doesnt do it.

Same here... I get hives when I use bare minerals but I love how it looks. I really like physicians formula BB Cream.

Philosophy A-Z cream. It's moisturizer, SPF, primer and a little color all in one. I have a makeup drawer full of drug store bb creams that I tried and couldn't stand the pancaky feel. The Philosophy A-Z cream is available at Sephora's and feels and looks great.

Chasey, if you moisturize first, then do the BB cream it's a lot lighter and more even.

I love BB cream instead of foundation because I don't need a lot of correction, just kind of a smoothing. My favorite!! face product is POREfessional by Benefit. The daughter turned me onto it and it spackles my pores so my face is nice and smooth. Most of the time I use just that over moisturizer.

Their 15 hour primer is amazing. I forget the actual name of it. But it made my make up last all day and night in heat and humidity.

It's the bismuth

There are mineral products out there that do not contain bismuth

I use oil of olay moisterizer and serum. I use bare minerals now, but i may switch. My mom and sister use another mineral product that is really nice.

I also love my face "scrubber." I bought the oil of olay one, but i'm going to inest in the one that my sister uses. It works so much better

I just use regular old Noxema for my moisturizer.

It's inexpensive, works well for me, and I actually like the smell.

No one else does, but that's besides the point.

Clean is sexy

I used nothing but Noxzema in the blue tub when I was a teen and young adult, but my sins are worn right on my face so now I have to clean, moisturize, and de-pore with a little more authority.

I've started using Aveeno Anti Aging and I'm ok with it. I'd love to find a moisturizer that I absolutely love and makes my skin look great.

Any recommendations?

I've been using the Arbonne line for a few years and love it. Between the cleanser, moisturizer and scrub (I buy it as a package), it costs me $83 (with my 20% off). I use the FC5 line. The Anti-Aging line of theirs (orange bottles) contains witch hazel and it's too strong for me.

I've heard great things about Arbonne but it was about their foundation. I'll have to look it up.

I use Bare Minerals daily and I've tried some BB creams and they just feel really heavy to me. I like to keep it in my pool bag to throw on just in case I need to do something after the pool but it makes my face feel like it can't breathe.

I wasn't big on the BB cream either, got the one WR recommended (Physicians Formula). It wasn't bad, I just really like Bar Minerals I guess. I've kept the BB cream for when I've been low on and too lazy to get more BM and for circumstances like you, on the go
