just because she looks fine doesn't mean she really is.....i would have her looked at. I don't play when it comes to that stuff. my animals when they are sick or injured make a trip to the vet.

Right on Brother/Sister!!!:buddies:

Dont waste time here with us know nothings, dont go searching online for an answer either instead go pay a few bucks and get your Vet to check it out.

WOW...way to be an #######. Did I ask for a cure? NO! I know that I will have to take her to a vet, but I will not be doing that at 6 in the evening. I was just getting opinions from others who may have had something like this happen to their pet.

if u post a problem about an animal on here- u are guaranteed to get a bunch of crap from a couple nutbags. in my opinion, im not rich id rather get some opinions from other pet owners (if the animal is in no pain and it doesnt seem like anything serious) if it could be something silly and can be treated at home then go to a vet and leave with some ointment u can buy at Petsmart and a $300 bill. Then the nutbags will tell you that if you dont have $2000 to spend on your cat you are a horrible person and shouldnt own a pet and you dont love your pet. Im glad your beautiful baby is doing better :huggy:

Since when didn't you understand that I was never looking for a cure or an answer? Is that all you do, go on the forums and look for someone to pick on? Why don't you try someone else because your rude comments don't phase me.

Sweetie, Im not being nothing but honest with ya...and I am not picking on you...and there is a difference between being bluntly honest and rude.

My cat looks like she is winking at me...I was thinking maybe she just got hurt playing with my other cats. She's not acting weird or anything. Her eye has been like that for maybe 2 or 3 days. I think this is the second time this has happened. Any ideas?

Just what did you mean by asking "Any Ideas ? " after you described a vague behavior with no other info?

Well, here is my idea:
Quit looking for ideas and get your cat to the vet.
She may have 9 lives, but has only 2 eyes and YOU to take care of her.

If you THINK this is the second time this has happened, what makes you think it wont happen a 3rd or 4th time?

Quit playing the forum drama queen, and take her to your vet instead of "thinking" it happened before and are asking for, (and I quote you sweetie,) "ANY IDEAS?"

Hope your kittie does not go blind because of your blindness to her condition.

Dear Kitty, I hope your mommy/daddy listens to you ( not any of us) and gets you to the vet. Yo are too pretty to go blind in your eye. :huggy: to the kitty.

I see you "love" your kitty and care about her health!!

But heck Sweetie, she has two eyes!!!
One to loose and one left to use!

Sad....really sad...and such a beautiful cat too!:cds:

The yawn wasn't in reference to my cat, it was to your rambling on and on everytime I post something. My cat is going to be just fine. This will be the last time I respond to your posts, as you think I'm a drama queen...I think it should be the other way around.

(P.S. Don't call me sweetie...)

OK Honey..glad to know that all the "ideas" you asked for helped you determine why your kitty was winking at you!
Here is one more idea, Ask A Vet

She just loves you and loves how much you love her in return!!! :huggy:
She winks and you go running to you PC for help!!!:killingme

:gossip: This person sounds suspiciously like someone else we all know. :eyebrow:

I would supplement her diet with L-Lysine, which you can get at any store that sells supplements & vitamins. Especially if this is re-occuring sounds like the herpes virus which many cats are born with.

As was mentioned before, you can also rinse the eye with a saline solution.

But it could also be something in her eye, and the vet would need to put dye in her eye to see a scratch or object in the eye its self.

google L-lysine for cats for more info on the herpes virus

Riiiiiight, she's the one who is going off the deep end. (This person does resemble a certain someone... Kinda spooky to think there might be more than one.)

Butterfly, your initial post was a bit vague, so next time try to provide as much information as possible, including photos if necessary. Otherwise, I don't think you did anything odd, and may have taken the same course myself.

Hope she is well.
