I can't speak for everyone, but I have a feeling the rest of us don't think this way. Would have never occurred to me.
Just imagine the sick things he does that we don’t hear about.

Having Fun!
During the summer I was pizzed at waking up at 5 or 6 in the am, when the light came thru the window. Now because the sunrise doesn't come thru the window (moved to the other side of the house) and I'm not waking up until after 8. This morning it was 9:30.

No, I'm retired. I will not use an alarm unless absolutely necessary.
Me, too! I've finally gotten to the point that I don't wake up at 5:30 & stay awake. I can happily, most days, go back to sleep until 7:30 or even 8! And I gauge it by the daylight coming in the window. So the switch of clocks back on late Saturday night/early Sunday morning (Nov 5th/6th) will mess me up for a few days but it doesn't matter because I don't have to get up and go to school!!! I am really loving this retirement gig!

Now if I can just get something done about the airport runway street light that BGE put up outside my bedroom windows, everything will be totally gold!

You're newly retired. Give it a year or two. Clocks no longer have meaning. 3am is a fine time to work on that whatever that's in the back of your head. 3pm is a fine time for a 2 hour nap.
This is SO going to be me once the grandsons are old enough to care for themselves.

2 am sewing? Oh, yeah!
